(I)
And my mouth extends its dam so as not to pass!
Her hand poured on me ... my astonishment,
Your hands..
Are spinning in my hand its whimpering,
All I have hidden in your hands from grieve,
The storms are made of it.
(I)
وَ يَمُدُّ ثُغْرِي سَدَّهُ كَيْلا تَمُر!
سَكَبَتْ عَلىَّ دَهْشَتِي.. يَدُهَا,
فَيَدَاكِ..
تَغْزِلُ فِى يَدَيَّ.. نَشِيجَهَا,
كُلُّ الَّذِى خَبَّأْتُهُ..
فِي رَاحَتَيْكِ مِنْ شُجُونٍ,
قُدِّرَتْ مِنْهُ الْعَوَاصِفْ.
(II)
Two eyes..
The eye of water.. Is kind as a prophet
An eye.. The color of its sky..
Hardens heavily on me,
Made me suspect me,
If my sand stretch in the heart.
عَيْنَانِ..
عَيْنُ الْمَاءِ.. تَحْنُو كَالنَّبِيّ,
عَيْنٌ..
وَلَوْنُ سَمَائِهَا.. يَقْسُو عَلَيّ,
فَتَوَجَّسِي مِنِّي,
إِذَا انْبَسَطَتْ رِمَالِي فِي الْفُؤاد.

I will cling to what remains of my joy,
Longing will not sit with me,
Longing is not a rope..
So, how shall I ascend a body of thorns?
The chair does not stretch in my pores
A sitting for you to drink,
From the fire of my heart the bitter coffee.
سَأَشُدُّ مَا يَتَبَقَّى مِنْ فَرَحٍ لَدَيّ,
لَنْ يَجْلِسَ الشَّوْقُ مَعِي,
لا الشَوْقُ سَلْسَالاً..
فَكَيْفَ سَأَرْتَقِي جَسَدًا مِنَ الْشَّوْكِ.
ولا الكُرْسِيّ,
يَبْسُطُ فِي مَسَامِيَ مَجْلِسًا كَي تَشْرَبِي,
مِنْ نَارِ قَلْبِي الْقَهْوَةَ الْمُرَّة

You, who have stitched with the thread
of her avoidance...
Silence that is lowered between us
I have kept it as a secret.. A body that will
Imprison in its deserts the free sparrows.
For the herd of the wind to distribute
Among us his flock.
أَنْتِ الَّتِي رَتَقَتْ بِخَيْطِ صُدُودِهَا..
صَمْتًا تَدَلَّى بَيْنَنَا,
وَاسْتَكْتَمَتْ..
جِسْمًا.. سَيَقْبِضُ فِي بَرَارِيهِ..
الْعَصَافِيرَ الرَّحِيبَةَ.
كَي يُوَزِّعَ بَيْنَنَا سِرْبُ الرِّيَاحِ قَطِيعَهُ,

I run.. my bones are tracing me,
Throwing at you the scared regret..
Stretching from your heart its shade,
I have no sin,
For my heart to run towards the pottery / fire
To be slapped with the whinnying ..
أَجْرِي.. تُلاحِقْنِي عِظَامِي,
أَرْمِي عَلَيْكِ الْلَهْفَةَ الوَجْلَى..
فَيُبْسَطَ - مِنْ فُؤادِكِ - ظِلُّهُ,
لَيْسَ لِي ذَنْبٌ,
أَنْ يَعْدُو لِلْفَخَّارِ قَلْبِي/ النّارُ
يُصْفَعُ بالصَّهِيل..

Mohammed Alaa Abdul Hadi *Dr.
-He is an Egyptian poet, academic critic and thinker, with fourteen issues in poetry, ten critical and intellectual books, and three translations about English, Hungarian, and dozens of research papers. He participated in the discussion of several Master degrees and Ph.D.
He is the president of the Egyptian Association of Comparative Poetry, member of the Supreme Press Council and member of the Board of the Faculty of Dar Al Ulum - Fayoum University and member of the Board of Directors of Al-Kalam International Club. He is currently the president of Egypt's Writer Union / President of the Egyptian Association for Comparative Literature.
